Designer Book

I read this book which is about designing. It was very interesting. It helped me so much to get creative ideas for my art works. It had so many funny, witty designs, serious heavy designs, sophisticated designs, and lastly graphical designs. I loved all of them. But I loved the witty designs the most. It was so catchy and just rings in my head whenever someone says design.

I guess if I want to be a successful designer, I will have to be able to have a good sense of humor some wits and a lot more. Some designs are criticisms of a society. It was quite funny. I also searched some designers these days which have succeeded and I found a Japanese designer. Takashi Murakami. He has got designs that looks so much like a japanese design but then a design that is totally new to this world. There are animes in the design, massive colors everywhere and cute icons. I was thinking of showing you some of his work. He even cooperated with Louis Vuitton to design handbags. It was pretty!

Canvas Art Works

I have done a few canvas art works. It is more like a design and I really love design and would love to do it professionally. Well, the ones I did are amateur but it didn't come out as bad as I thought! Well have a look. I will show you the ones which was painted with acrylic paint. I found out that acrylic paint works the best for canvas.

What I liked here is the gradation. I matched the right colors. :)

The next one I am going to show you is not just acrylic paint it also has melted crayon in it. The colors I used for melting crayon was a lot of white and silver. And I melted the crayon with hair dryer. Didn't take so long to melt! It was fun.

And this is a melted Crayon Art! Something I always wanted to do. The background is done with black acrylic paint.

Lastly, I'll show you my works done without acrylic paint and just with poster colors. It was hard work it took me ages to finish it.

The next one's design is done with tape. It was fun.

The last one is a bit unique. I wanted to design a canvas without using my usual paint. So I thought about using magazines! And cutting out little triangles to make a design! I am still doing it but this is how far I have come. It's amazing doing these designs.

After this one, I'm planning to do some more of acrylic and crayon melting work. I want to experiment a lot of things. It's really fun.

I'll post that next time! Thank you!
